
Mike Noonen has 25 years of experience leading technology businesses resulting in two IPOs and multiple acquisitions. Most recently he was SVP, Global Marketing, Sales & Business Development at Rambus. Previously, Mike led sales and marketing at Silego Technology, the pioneer of Configurable Mixed-Signal acquired by Dialog Semiconductor in late 2017. Prior to Silego he was the interim CEO and Board Director at Ambiq Micro, the low power microcontroller leader.
Previously, Noonen was:
- Chairman and co-founder of Silicon Catalyst (the World’s 1st semiconductor incubator, EE Times 2015 Start-up of the Year)
- EVP, Global Products, Design, Sales, & Marketing at GlobalFoundries (the fastest growing semiconductor company in 2012)
- EVP, Worldwide Sales & Marketing, at NXP (2010 IPO, 12 consecutive quarters of top and bottom-line growth)
Noonen has held executive product line, sales and marketing roles at National Semiconductor, Cisco Systems, and 8×8. He started his career at NCR Microelectronics teaching mixed-signal ASIC design. He also was elected to the Global Semiconductor Alliance Board of Directors and was Chairman of the Board of Socle in Taiwan (acquired by Foxconn). He holds a BSEE from Colorado State University and in 2012 was named the College of Engineering Distinguished Alumni. He holds multiple patents in the areas of Internet telephony and video communications.
